Top: Reproduction work which illustrates the combined elements of perspective and shadow. Acrylic on canvas. This piece is particularly special because it was my first.

 

Center: This work is a reproduction of Henri Matisse's The Moroccans. This assignment was to evaluate the stylistic approach of a master of the 20th century artist

 

Bottom: An original piece which represents my technique of using very thin acrylic washes on a silver leaf substrate. The intent was for the viewer to have the sensory experience of a cold and icy winter day.
