An ongoing weekly assignment was to provide sketchbook illustrations to an intro to architectural technology class. The exercise was to examine how line, form, and textural elements can be translated into two-dimensional drawings. By expressing these elements with pencil and paper, we learned to extract shapes from nature, from media, and from every day  life we often take for granted.
